From Severance & Dissociation to Embodiment- Heal in Community Session (Jan 2023)

from $10.00

Recording will be available after for anyone who can’t attend live! Zoom link will be email a week before.

Theme: Severance (For context: Read the newsletter titled “Work/ life balance is a capitalist myth” on wokescientist.substack.com)

How have we been fragmented into parts by capitalism? How do we stitch these parts back together? What is your work-self or school-self versus your life-self? How can we figure out who we are outside of oppressive systems? How has colonialism severed us from our land & each other? What does reconnecting & returning to community look like? How can we ground in community?

Note: In these sessions, we will do grounding/ creative exercises, bounce ideas, thoughts, feelings off of each other & practice what it really means to work thru things as an ecosystem in community. Email ayeshakhan0993@gmail.com with ideas for creative, thought or art exercises/ visualizations, guided prompts or any group activities you think might be good for this topic and ground us.
